Policy Council

Definition

The University Policy Council, as the highest authority for policy-making, decision-making, and providing macro strategies, is responsible for guiding and developing the university's international activities and cooperation. The purpose of forming this council is to clarify and formulate executive processes, facilitate the implementation of activities related to international policy-making of the university, vice-chancellors, faculties, and all university units, as well as how to hold meetings of the council, affiliated committees, and relevant administrative and executive centers, and facilitate the process of affairs.

Tasks

  • Explaining policies, strategies, and macro indicators to enhance the university's international standing
  •  Approving university internationalization plans, budgets, and programs
  •  Prioritizing countries, universities, and scientific and international centers, the goal for developing cooperation
  •  Setting goals to improve the level of university international affairs activities and services
  •  Evaluating and monitoring the performance and process of the university's international activities
  •  Supervising the development of memorandums of understanding with universities and international scientific centers
  •  Evaluation and measurement of the level of exploitation and implementation of international agreements

  • University President (Chairman of the Council)
  •  Advisor to the President of the University on International Affairs and Director of the University's Office of Scientific and International Cooperation (Secretary of the Council)
  •  Vice President of Education at the University
  •  Vice President of University Research and Technology
  •  Vice President of University Finance and Administration
  •  Vice President of Student Affairs at the University
  • Three members of the university faculty and experts in international affairs, with the approval of the council chairman
  • Representative of the University Internationalization Committee with the approval of the Council Chairman
